Il progetto per la Casa SA prevede la ristrutturazione integrale e la progettazione degli interni dell’appartamento di circa 70 mq. Le soluzioni proposte prevedono: la rimodulazione e il riposizionamento delle aperture dei prospetti, la demolizione dei setti divisori tra il vecchio corridoio e la zona giorno per un’ottimizzazione degli spazi e, infine, la riorganizzazione degli ambienti della zona notte con piccole modifiche relative alla forma e metratura di ciascun ambiente.
Quella che prima era un’abitazione con una scansione spaziale classica e tipica degli appartamenti degli anni ’70 e ’80, diventa ora uno spazio suddiviso nei due ambienti funzionali di zona giorno con open-space e zona notte.
Per la zona giorno, si è previsto di demolire i due setti divisori tra vecchio corridoio di ingresso e sala da pranzo, e tra quest’ultima e la cucina. Si è creato, così, uno spazio unico, un open-space zona giorno, in cui l’area cottura e l’isola stanno sulla stessa parete della porta d’ingresso, ma schermati da un breve setto. In questo modo, anche l’angolo ingresso risulta incorniciato e intimo, reso più interessante dalla boiserie in legno a tutta altezza che ne scandisce lo spazio e dona calore. Sul lato opposto, si trova l’area living con parete attrezzata a tutta altezza che racchiude la zona tv, libreria e un piccolo angolo scrittoio nascosto tra due ante vetrate. I materiali richiamano quelli naturali, con una prevalenza del legno (arredi, boiserie) e della pietra (pavimenti) e i colori sono neutri nei toni del bianco, beige e grigio.
La zona notte è rivolta tutta sul lato sud-ovest dell’abitazione e presenta tre ambienti: le due camere da letto e un bagno. La camera singola è adibita anche ad area studio/lavoro, mentre il bagno è stato rimodulato rispetto all’originario per lasciare spazio a un piccolo vano lavanderia nel disimpegno. La doccia è stata spostata sulla parete finestrata, mantenendo invece lavabo e sanitari sulle due pareti adiacenti. Nella camera matrimoniale, sulla parete di fronte al letto, è stata inserita una zona beauty con seduta e specchio, mentre l’armadio si colloca opposto alla parete della grande porta finestra. Anche nella zona notte persistono le tonalità neutre e calde, dove i contrasti di colore sono per lo più rimandati agli accessori e a qualche dettaglio d’arredo.
Nel complesso, il nuovo progetto mira a ridare valore e scansione agli spazi, resi più funzionali e ottimizzati alle esigenze dei committenti. Inoltre, porta nuova luce e calore all’interno gli ambienti, in cui le aperture sembravano troppo sacrificate.

The project for House SA involves the complete renovation and interior design of the approximately 70 sqm apartment. The proposed solutions include: the reconfiguration and repositioning of the facade openings, the demolition of partition walls between the old hallway and the living area to optimize space, and finally, the reorganization of the bedrooms with small modifications to the layout and size of each room.
What was once a home with a classic spatial layout typical of apartments from the 1970s and 1980s, now becomes a space divided into two functional areas: a living area with an open-plan layout and a sleeping area.
For the living area, it was planned to demolish the two partition walls between the old entrance hallway and the dining room, and between the latter and the kitchen. This creates a single space, an open-plan living area, where the kitchen area and the island are on the same wall as the entrance door, but screened by a short partition. This way, even the entrance corner is framed and intimate, made more interesting by the full-height wooden wainscoting that defines the space and adds warmth. On the opposite side, there is the living area with a full-height wall unit enclosing the TV area, bookcase, and a small hidden desk area between two glass doors. The materials evoke natural elements, with a predominance of wood (furniture, wainscoting) and stone (flooring), and the colors are neutral in shades of white, beige, and gray.
The sleeping area is all located on the southwest side of the house and consists of three rooms: two bedrooms and a bathroom. The single bedroom also serves as a study/work area, while the bathroom has been redesigned to make room for a small laundry area in the hallway. The shower has been moved to the windowed wall, while the sink and toilet remain on the two adjacent walls. In the master bedroom, a beauty area with seating and a mirror has been added to the wall opposite the bed, while the wardrobe is placed opposite the large window wall. Even in the sleeping area, the neutral and warm tones persist, with color contrasts mainly reserved for accessories and some furnishing details.
Overall, the new design aims to restore value and structure to the spaces, making them more functional and tailored to the clients’ needs. Additionally, it brings new light and warmth into the interior spaces, where the openings seemed too compromised.
